Ph.D. Industrial Engineering
Purdue University
During my Ph.D. studies at Purdue, I have had the opportunity to work on various industry-collaborative projects and professionals from different disciplines. These experiences have allowed me to bridge theory and practice, gaining valuable insights from both academic research and real-world applications.
M.S. Industrial and Systems Engineering
Virginia Tech
My master's degree enhanced my understanding of human factors principles and methodologies, equipping me with the knowledge to approach design challenges from a human-centered perspective. I am well-versed in utilizing user research methods to assess user needs through both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
B.S. Safety Engineering
Virginia Tech
My bachelor's degree provided me with a strong foundation in incorporating safety standards and addressing potential human risks. This enables me to create systems that comply with regulations while proactively mitigating risks, ensuring safer and more resilient designs.
Work Experience
Teaching Assistant
Purdue University
Facilitated execution of course IE 486 (Working Analysis And Design), including data analysis and visualization using Python, natural language processing (NLP) using Python, interface design using Figma, and experimental design through physiological sensors and survey.
Facilitated execution of course IE 577 (Human Factors in Engineering) with lab design. Supported students in their learning journey by providing guidance and feedback on experimental deisng and data analysis, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
summer intern
User Experience Researcher
Beijing Knowledge Impression Technology Co., Ltd
My team focuses on conducting UX research to refine interface design for an educational application using various methodologies, including interviews, focus groups, and surveys to gather user feedback and insights for further improvements.
